Sun eMediCare Income is an individual yearly renewable medical and health insurance plan that provides comprehensive hospital income coverage up to age 70.
This plan provides daily hospital income benefit in the event the life assured is hospitalised due to all causes (illnesses or accidental causes). In the event life assured is hospitalised due to specified infectious diseases*, hospitalized in overseas or confined in an intensive care unit of a hospital an additional daily hospital income benefit will be payable.
* Specified infectious diseases refer to Dengue Fever, Chikungunya Fever, Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis, Avian Influenza or Zika Virus Infection.

This plan also provides additional daily hospital income benefit if the life assured is hospitalised due to specified infectious diseases*, hospitalised in overseas, or confined in an intensive care unit of a hospital.

The premium that you need to pay depends on your age, gender and selected plan. Please note that the premium rates are non-guaranteed and will increase according to your attained age upon policy anniversary. Kindly refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet for the amount that you need to pay.
Yes. Subject to our approval, you may change the frequency of premium payments upon policy renewal by giving us written notice before the expiry of the grace period*.
* Grace period of 30 days is given from the premium due date for the payment of premium. If you do not pay the premium within 30 days grace period from the premium due date, your policy will lapse with immediate effect.
No benefit shall be payable if the hospitalisation of the life assured is resulted directly or indirectly from, or as a result of the following:

No benefit shall be applicable or payable if the hospitalisation of the life assured incurred directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, by any of the following occurrence:
Yes, you can cancel the policy after purchasing it. You are given a free look period of 15 days from the delivery date of the policy. During this period, you should review your policy to ensure it is suitable for you and it meets your needs. If you decide not to take up the policy for whatever reason after it has been issued, you may cancel the policy by giving written notice to us within the free look period. We will refund any premium paid.
If you cancel after 15 days from the delivery of the policy, you will be covered under the policy until the date when the next premium becomes due. There will be no cash value or pro-rated premium payable.
